Burleson texas real estate

Burleson
The town of Burleson came to be in the early 1880's. Through the years Burleson has grown to a population of over 25,000.  The city has become a commercial hub of Johnson County and one of the most livable communities in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Burleson is located 12 miles south of downtown Fort Worth and 35 miles from Dallas. Burleson is split and lies in both Tarrant and Johnson Counties.

Founded in 1881 along the M-K-T Railway tracks the area was once located directly in open range livestock country. Since then Burleson has grown into a well known center for commerce and industry.  The years have been good, bringing prosperity and growth, as well as a diverse economic base.

Growth and Change are the two major plans for the area. While maintaining the original identity that made the town what it was and preserving as much history as possible, the city is actively looking forward to a beautiful future.
