Double Oak texas real estate

Double Oak
Double Oak Texas is everything you could want in a small town. They have 2,200 local residents, despite the small size they have actually grown quite a bit. In 1974 the census reported Double Oak as having 243 residents. Double Oak is around 15 miles from the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

The town itself is quite beautiful and if you are looking for small town living this is the perfect place for you. Take your time spending the day relaxing at the lake with a fishing pole at your side, or just go for a calm swim in the area lake. There is always something to do in nature.

The neighbors are friendly and the community prides itself on representing the town with small town flavor and friendship. The area is served by there own volunteer fire department, their own city government, and plenty of residents that care to make their area a better place.
