Ennis real estate
The City of Ennis, located on
Interstate Highway 45 just 30 minutes from downtown Dallas is the
preferred residential and business development site in the Southern
Tier of the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex - and for good reason
Traveling south on I-45 from Dallas, visitors to Ennis will begin to
notice the rolling terrain of Ellis County. The surrounding farm
roads provide open vistas of hills, meadows, and ponds.
This is "Bluebonnet Country!" Each spring our local artists capture
nature's splendor on canvas and tour buses carry eager photographers
to the prime wildflower viewing spots.
Ennis is only 30 minutes south of Dallas. Close enough for a daily
commute to the Dallas / Ft. Worth Metroplex, but a world away from
big city cares. Fort Worth is 46 miles west on US Highway 287, and
Houston is 180 miles south on I-45. We are centrally located with
easy access to all major metropolitan areas.
In Ennis, the superior location is one of the greatest advantages!
