Lancaster texas real estate

Lancaster
Lancaster is one of the oldest communities formed in north central Texas. Originally the land was settled by members of Peters Colony. August 30, 1841, the President of the Republic of Texas signed a contract which authorized 600 families to move into the Lancaster area. The first group of settlers derived from the Greene County, Illinois area.

Lancaster is only 15 minutes from the downtown area of Dallas Texas. Lancaster has grown greatly from their original days and though they are a small town, Lancaster is nestled near all the conveniences of a big city. The best thing about living in Lancaster is the small town appeal with the comfort of all the amenities of the big city right next door.

The town prides itself on its small town community appeal, as well as running an efficient, cost effective platform which helps the community continue to grow.
