Little Elm
Little Elm was incorporated in June 1966 and currently has approximately 4,800 acres or 7.5 square miles within the corporate limits. The Little Elm community is located along the northeastern banks of Lake Lewisville. A public Town park and marina provides easy access for recreational and water related activities.

The Town of Little Elm has a current estimated population of over 11,200 residents and has been recognized as the fastest growing community, in percentage growth, within the entire North Central Texas. Little Elm has grown 307% since the 2000 census, when the Town registered 3,646 residents. The population according to the cities count in December 2003 is 14,000.

Outdoor activities rank high in the recreation activities with such places as Lake Lewisville being easily accessible. The Little Elm Park is the largest water front park in the area. Other places of outdoor recreation include Beard Park and the Cottonwood Park and Marina.
