Springtown
originally went by the name Littleton Springs. They are located in
northeast Parker County Texas. The county was named after Isaac
Parker. He was a relative of Cynthia Ann Parker, who according to
history, was captured by the Indians in childhood and became the
mother of a famous Comanche Chief. Among the first settlers in newly
formed Parker County were former residents and natives of Patterson,
New Jersey.

Springtown has
experienced a period of slow but steady growth since there beginning
days. The community has continued to express the spirit of the
pioneers. They remain strong in there history as they push forward
to continue to make the area a place they can all be proud to live
