Venus texas real estate

Venus
Venus was named in the late 1880's after the daughter of a local doctor. The area that is now Venus was formerly known as Gossip. In 1888 a post office opened and there were ten area residents. Though you wouldn't think it from that description, Venus soon became a thriving community. Once this happened you could find all of the following establishments in the Venus area: Churches, a grade school, Burnetta College, numerous local area businesses, three banks and a newspaper. Venus was incorporated in 1903.   In the 1990 census, Venus had a population of 977. Since then the area has continued to grow and will in the future.

There are many options no matter the size of your family or your residential needs. If you are hoping to rent a local area home or living space, you will find numerous places that are available in the Venus area. If buying is more your style, you will find many residential area lots that are up to your standards for sure.

Venice is proud to host there own excellent school system for the area youth. There is much to do in the area, especially outdoors. You are sure to find many ways to relax the day away in comfort at one of the area parks or lakes.
